Manufacturing Capabilities
Plastifoam operates two manufacturing locations, our EPS Foam Division and our Flexible Foam Division.
The EPS Division makes its own EPS (expanded polystyrene). This division specializes in the design and fabrication of cost-effective rigid foam packaging materials, including EzeeSnap (our off-the-shelf product.) Using CAD/CAM manufacturing procedures to design and produce custom products, we offer an extremely fast turnaround from concept to first-piece production with no hard tooling. Also located at the EPS Division is our sister company, Avilite, which makes custom architectural shapes, rafter vents, ceiling tile, EPS Geofoam, and EPS insulating board. Visit www.avilitecorp.com for more information.
The Flexible Foam Division specializes in the design and fabrication of custom foam packaging (polyurethane and polyethylene) and our off-the-shelf EzeeTear, EzeeCorner, EzeeShip'r, EzeeSnap, Apple Gift Pack, Farm-Fresh Gift Pack, and USPS Flat-Rate Box Insert products. CAD design and sampling capabilities and automated die-cutting methods allow versatility and cost savings in a variety of custom packaging products. |
